RHS Grants Available

RHS Community Grants – Apply Now!

Has your group been looking for additional funding to support a community project? We’re pleased to share that the RHS has recently launched two new grant schemes – the RHS Community Environment Fund and the RHS Connected Communities Fund. With grants of up to £5,000 available, the two Funds aim to support climate-positive growing projects and increase the diversity of people involved in gardening. Applications for the two grants close at midnight on Monday 6 December, so you still have time to apply!

RHS Community Environment Fund:

For this Fund, the RHS are looking for projects that take action on environmental issues that are important to your community across a wide range of climate-related issues. They are particularly keen to receive applications from projects that are evidence based, utilise opportunities to educate others about the environment, and use plants or greening solutions to minimise the negative effects of environmental issues. Grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 are available and funding must be spent by the end of 2022.

RHS Connected Communities Fund:

With community at the heart of so many gardening projects, this Fund focuses on bringing together more diverse groups of people, reducing social isolation and sharing skills and knowledge. If your group has been looking for ways to increase its reach and build stronger community connections, this grant could be a fantastic opportunity to support your work. Grants of between £1,000 and £3,000 are available and successful groups will need to use the full amount awarded before the end of 2022.
